Party Bus 101

So you are renting a party bus for the very first time and want to know some of the basics? As you probably know, party buses come in many different shapes, sizes and can be used for almost any number of people and for any occasion. As a general rule you will want to talk with the company you are looking to rent from before you book your reservation and go over any questions that you might have with them. This article will give you a few things that might want to inquire about that should help make your experience go a bit smoother if you are new to this.

The first thing you might be asking yourself is what all is included in the price? This varies from company to company but generally speaking use of the various amenities inside the bus are all included in the price. Things like the televisions, sound systems and washrooms shouldn’t cost any extra. However, if you are wondering about beverages and food, then this is an area that may differ from company to company. Some companies may provide you with complimentary non-alcoholic beverages and some may even offer beer, wine, champagne or mixed drinks at no extra charge. We’ve found that most companies have a BYOB policy so you will need to bring your own drinks with you. But this is something you should always ask about. Another thing to inquire about is if there is an extra cleanup fee if you do decide to bring food or drinks on board. Some companies may charge extra if your food or refreshments get too messy and there is a lot of cleanup required by them after.

Another thing you might be asking is where or how far can we go? This too varies and depends on the policies of the specific company you are renting from. We have found that most companies don’t have a restriction on how far they will take you, but they have a certain limit before they start charging extra. So before you book you should know exactly where you want to go and how far you will be traveling. Then you can get a price for that exact distance so you aren’t hit with any additional fees after the fact.

Reserving a party bus is easy once you have found the company you want to use. Just make sure you ask a lot of questions and let them know exactly where you want to go and what you will be doing. Make sure the company you are using has all the appropriate licenses and all of their vehicles are insured. And finally, check with the BBB to ensure there hasn’t been any serious complaints registered against the company you are looking to work with. If you do all of this you will surely have a great time and you won’t run into any problems or issues along the way.
